Stan Randall is the Director and Head Coach of Alamo Area Aquatics Diving since 1995. He is also the Director of the Community Olympic Development Program, Head Coach for Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas and Director of Diving of Inner City Games. Stan moved to San Antonio, Texas in 1995 and has been preparing and developing top-level athletes for a future at a University or for a career in coaching diving with his mentor program for coaches. Stan has been coaching for 40 years.

Stan is one of the United States' elite age group diving Since Stan began coaching diving he has produced a number of local, state, national and international diving champions. Stan has had members on the United State Junior Olympic teams in 1974 and in 1976. He has coached members of the United States National Travel team since 1976.

In 1982 Stan had his first double International Gold Medalist at the Can-Am-Mex Games and was also awarded the United States Age Group Coach of the Year.

In 1986 Stan was the United States National Team coach to Aachen, West Germany. Since then his team has competed internationally in Sweden, Austria, Mexico, England, Canada, Switzerland, and in many other countries. The internationally famous Read Roof Inn Diving Team won the National Team Title in 1984 and again in 1986. In 1983 the team placed 3rd overall and in 1985 the team was 2nd overall.

In 1988 Stan was appointed the United States Senior Diving Coach and coached the Senior National Diving Team in Moscow, Russia (former Soviet Union). In 2001, Stan was named the NSCAA Coach of the Year after Cesilie Porter won one-meter and was second on three-meter at the NCSAA Coaches National Championships.

Stan's primary goals are to bring international attention to Alamo Area Aquatics Diving and advance every diver to their full potential.

Coach Stan Randall became Trinity University's director of diving in August of 2002, and life around T.U. pool has been a lively affair ever since. Coach Randall brings a dynamic personality and a wealth of diving knowledge and experience with him every time he enters Trinity's Bell Athletic Center, and the Tiger's diving program is improving with each passing day. This year marks the first year to have a 14 member diving team due in part to Stan's fantastic abilities. Stan has recruited some of the finest divers from around the nation and hopes to take them to the next level...to become the NCAA Champion.

 Tommy Law became interested in diving after watching Greg Louganis and Bruce Kimball on ABC's Wide World of Sports. Tommy and his brother spent a lot of time playing around on the diving boards at Forest Oaks Pool in 1985. Tommy competed Summer league for two years and high school for three years. Chris Petit, Kirby Weedin, Craig Nolder, Debbie Christiansen, and Stan Randall coached him through the years.

Tommy coached as an assistant with San Antonio Divers from 1991 to 1993. He then became Debbie Christiansen's assistant coach at Palo Alto College in 1994. Tommy took over the head coaching position when Debbie received her Masters Degree and moved to Dallas, Tx. Tommy has been coaching the Alamo Area Aquatics Team since 1995 and has been coaching high school diving for the Northside Independent School District since 1996.

Tommy Law graduated from John Marshall High School where he held the school diving records for one-meter and three-meter for over seven years. Tommy also held the Tuloso-Midway pool record from 1989 to 2008.  He went on to graduate from the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) in 1997 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies (Secondary Education) and a minor equivalency in Russian. Tommy was a member of Sigma Tau Gamma Fraternity from 1990 to 1996.

Tommy's goal is to develop and produce a team of divers that final in the J.O. National Championships and coach a national champion. He is also interested in helping high school divers attain college scholarships through diving. Tommy's hobbies include: Archery, trampoline, diving, darts, and collecting (shot glasses, Curious George, sports cards, and diving autographs). Tommy still competes in some diving competitions. He is fascinated with "sports psychology" especially diving applications.

Frances Farruggia

 Frances graduated from John Jay High School in 1996 at the age of 16. For each of her three years as a diver she placed third at districts and received the “Most Outstanding Diver of the Year” award, at Jay. Since then she received her license in massage therapy and an Associates degree in Liberal Arts/Kinesiology at St. Phillips College. She graduated with honors in December 2006 from UTSA with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology with all-level teacher certification. She completed student teaching in the SouthWest Independent School District. In the Spring of 2006, at the University Life Awards, she received an award for “Most Outstanding Student in the College of Education and Human Development.” She was a lifeguard for three seasons at Fiesta Texas and practiced massage therapy while going to school. Since December of 2006 she has been working for the Social & Health Research Center in SAISD with the HEALTHY study to prevent type-2 Diabeties. She has also been coaching diving at the NorthSide Aquatic Center with Tommy and Stan since the fall of 2006. She was inspired after an experience as an athlete in the sport and assisting as a junior coach for diving. Her dream would be to continue working and learning from her former coaches at Northside. She has always loved heights and the water. Her favorite dive is the reverse 1 ½ pike. Frances likes all types of music, but the 80’s, oldies, and rock are her favorites. She likes Chinese food and her grandfathers’ spaghetti.
